Grenada is an island country and Commonwealth Realm consisting of the island of Grenada and six smaller islands at the southern end of the Grenadines in the south-eastern Caribbean Sea. Grenada is located northwest of Trinidad and Tobago, northeast of Venezuela, and southwest of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Intoxicating natural beauty, sunny skies, warm waters, and white sandy beaches combine to make Grenada one of the most seductive spots in the Caribbean. Christopher Columbus first spotted Grenada in 1493, when it was populated with native tribes, but the Europeans didn't colonize until the French conquered it in 1650.
